Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Departure
Meet at the designated departure point and begin your journey through Southeastern Anatolia and Northern Mesopotamia.
As sightseeing will begin before hotel check-in, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and flat walking shoes.
Day 2: Gaziantep
Following our arrival in Gaziantep, we visit the renowned Zeugma Mosaic Museum, home to an extraordinary collection of Roman-era mosaics.
We continue to Gaziantep Castle, Naib Hamamı, the Glass Museum and Emine Göğüş Culinary Museum. We then explore the city’s historic shopping areas, including the Coppersmiths’ Bazaar, Mother-of-Pearl Bazaar, Zincirli Bedesten, Şire Han, Elmacı Bazaar and Tahmis Coffee House.
After visiting Bayazhan Gaziantep City Museum, there will be time to shop for the region’s famous baklava and pistachios before transferring to our hotel.

Day 3: Harran and Şanlıurfa
After breakfast, we travel to Harran, famous for its distinctive conical beehive houses. Here, we visit a traditional Harran house, the ruins of Harran University, the Grand Mosque, the archaeological excavation area and enjoy panoramic views of Harran Castle.
We then continue to Şanlıurfa, where we visit Balıklıgöl, Ayn Zeliha Lake, Halil-ür Rahman Mosque, Rızvaniye Mosque and Mevlid-i Halil Mosque. We also enjoy views of Urfa Castle before exploring Gümrük Han, the İsot Bazaar and Kazaz Bazaar.
An optional traditional Şanlıurfa dinner and Sıra Gecesi cultural evening will be available.

Day 4: Göbeklitepe and Mardin
After breakfast, we visit UNESCO World Heritage-listed Göbeklitepe, one of the world’s oldest known monumental archaeological sites.
We then continue to Mardin, a captivating city overlooking the Mesopotamian plains. After lunch, we visit Kasımiye Madrasa, the Church of the Forty Martyrs, Mardin’s traditional abbaras, historic stone streets and the Grand Mosque.
There will also be time to discover regional products and local handicrafts before visiting the historic Deyrulzafaran Monastery.

Day 5: Midyat, Hasankeyf, Batman, Malabadi and Diyarbakır
Following breakfast, we travel to Midyat, known for its beautiful stone architecture and traditional silver filigree craftsmanship.
We visit the Midyat State Guest House, historic cave houses and local artisan shops. Free time will be provided to explore Midyat’s atmospheric streets.
We then continue to New Hasankeyf, where we see the Zeynel Bey Tomb and El Rızk Mosque minaret. Guests may also join an optional boat tour offering memorable views of Hasankeyf.
Our journey continues to Batman, with panoramic views of the oil fields in the Raman Mountains. After lunch, we visit the historic Malabadi Bridge before travelling through Silvan to Diyarbakır.
Upon arrival, we visit the Ten-Eyed Bridge before transferring to our hotel.

Accommodation: Diyarbakır – Night 4
Day 6: Diyarbakır, Mount Nemrut and Kahta
After breakfast, we explore the historic centre of Diyarbakır. Highlights include the Grand Mosque, Sülüklü Han, Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı Museum, Hasan Paşa Han, Mardin Gate, the Inner Castle, the Four-Legged Minaret, the Caravanserai and Keçi Burcu.
After lunch, we travel across the Nissibi Bridge towards Kahta. From Kahta, we transfer to minibuses and visit the Roman-era Cendere Bridge and the Karakuş Tumulus.
We then ascend Mount Nemrut to admire its monumental statues and experience a spectacular sunset from the summit.
After sunset, we return to our hotel.

Day 7: Atatürk Dam, Halfeti, Birecik and Adana
After breakfast, we depart for Halfeti, stopping to see the impressive Atatürk Dam.
We visit the protected habitat of the endangered Birecik Bald Ibis before continuing to Halfeti. Guests may join an optional boat tour to see Rumkale and the famous Sunken Minaret.
After lunch in Halfeti, we travel to Adana, where we visit the historic Taşköprü and Sabancı Central Mosque.
We then begin our return journey to Istanbul. Upon arrival, guests will be dropped off at the original designated meeting points.
